Hello, I am Sara Davies.
I have over 20 years’ experience in the sub-editing and proofreading industry. In the past, I have worked for publishing companies including Legalease, Associated Newspapers, The Law Society, Hemming Group (Surveyor), RBI (Farmers’ Weekly) and Law Business Research.
Some of my regular clients that I proofread and edit for include Eloquence Works, a bid and marketing consultant, Gather Creative, a PR and copywriting agency, Exceptional Thinking, a marketing agency, and Beech Hill Safety, an H&S and CMD consultant, along with a number of other clients.
I am conversant with all well-known style guides and referencing styles. It does not matter if your area is fiction or non-fiction, I can offer a fast turnaround, if required, for both. I always deliver my work on time and within budget.
My proofreading and sub-editing expertise includes magazine and newspaper articles, novels, short stories, essays, dissertations, legal documents, real estate documentation, term papers, blogs, emails, websites and more!
I have excellent English-language skills, and am noted for my prompt and accurate service – providing exceptional attention to detail.
I have grade A GCSEs in English Language and English Literature, grade B in English Language A-level and a 2.1 BSc (Hons) in Media & Society from South Bank University.
If you have any kind of document where the English needs improving, please send an email or visit my contact page to discuss your requirements. I am happy to accept urgent edits at no extra charge. Go to my Prices page to view my very reasonable rates – which are priced by word count, not by the hour. Satisfaction is guaranteed!
I have a printer, photocopier, scanner and laminator, so I’m sure whatever your needs may be, I can accommodate them. I can edit documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Libre Office and InDesign. I can also add comments and changes to any PDF file you have. I can also lay out and design documents for you.
Please feel free to check out some of the testimonials I have received from past and present clients.
