The world needs editing

I have many visits to my editing website from all across the world, yet the majority of my actual clients are from the UK, with some from the US and Australia.

I often wonder why this is – are the people who come to my site not interested in ensuring their documents are written in perfect English? Are they worried they can’t afford an English editor and/or proofreader? Are they thinking they won’t have a way to pay for my services?

No need to worry!

Everyone who has documents in English should want those documents to contain perfect English, so editing and proofreading are essential.

If you’re trying to attract English-speaking customers or partners, having documents – website, email, blog, letter, menu, article, essay, dissertation, magazine, book, or any other sort of document – that read perfectly is essential. English-reading (and speaking) people who notice an array of errors in a document tend to distrust what they’re reading – fact.

My prices for editing and proofreading (even rewriting) are VERY reasonable. All you have to is compare the prices of any other reputed copy editor. You will certainly be able to find cheaper prices, but unfortunately, low prices tend to indicate low standards. If soeone says they will edit your 50,000-word book for £100, you will not get a properly edited book back from them. You’ll most likely get a book that all your readers will be able to spot the errors in, as well as anyone else who reads it.

My final point here is that my invoice will include a BIC and IBAN number – so international payments are quick and easy. I also accept payments via PayPal, so anyone from around the world who has a PayPal account can pay me very easily.

All Of You Need Editing!

You may not think you need any copy edited, but I bet you do! Maybe you may have an email or letter you were thinking of sending – to an MP, councillor, school, university, government department, shop or whatever – but weren’t sure about the language you used. Maybe you have a complaint you want to send.  An essay, dissertation or thesis you ned edited. The list goes on, but all of these document I will edit to perfection!

You may have a letter or email of complaint, yet again you’re not certain the language you used is right.

I’ll then send you a quote of my price and we can take it from there. Once we’ve agreed a price, I will do the work and send the edited document back to you via email If it’s a big file, you can send it through a dropbox, WeTransfer or whatever means you prefer.

You can then either pay me directly through your bank or through PayPal (all my details are on the invoice I will send you). I also have an IBAN and BIC, so international payments can be made.

I guarantee you will be happy with the work I do! I’ll make any amendments you require at no extra charge. Happy customers are my reason to keep going, which is why I’ve been successful so far.
